My friends
came here last week. Other friend came to spend week long holiday and other is
staying little bit longer doing also her internship.
Last week I
had 4 days off from work. It was nice to have time to hang out with my friends
and visit the Feria internacional de Los Pueblos.
In Feria de
los Pueblos every Caseta (“house”) is hosted by different country. Feria is all
about the nationalities that are living here. Countries serve their local food,
drinks and play their music. For example we went to Caseta Cuba to drink
Mojitos and to Caseta Venezuela to dance. Caseta Finland was nice organized. Every day
there were lots of people. They were showing ice hockey games, serving
sausages, salmon and Santa Claus was there also.
The Feria
is full of dance performances with people dressed up in traditional
costumes. Feria de los Pueblos is every
year at the same time.
Weather was
so great during this little break from work. Almost 30 degrees and sun was
shining. I actually went to the Ocean to swim for the first time. It was cold
but refreshing.
